Something About South India
The South India's coastal plains are backed by the mountains
rimming the wedge of the Deccan plateau. On these plains lie
the best beaches in South India. On the rimming mountains,
the western and eastern ghats are the tea, coffee and spice
lands. Beyond these mountains, in the wedge shaped plateau,
are great old cities supported by rich farm lands and a

South India is made up of the 4 states of Andhra Pradesh,
Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. They all lie in the
southern part of the Indian Peninsula and famous for its
natural beauty and a rich cultural heritage thus providing
visitors a stimulating experience.
Tamilnadu :: the land of the Tamils is one of the most
fascinating state. The coastal eastern and southern
boundaries are lapped by the waters of the Bay of Bengal and
the Indian Ocean respectively. This tour will take you

Arrive Chennai
At Chennai Airport you meet an Virtual Tours representative
and transfer to Hotel. This morning we set out to explore
the city of Chennai. Visit the National Art Gallery Fort St.
George, St. Mary's Church and the St.Thomas Cathedral and
drive along the marina. Walk with our guide though some
colorful market areas. Overnight at Hotel.

Chennai - Mahabalipuram (By
Road Covering 58 Kms)
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for Mahabalipuram by surface. On
arrival, check in at hotel. In the afternoon sight seeing of
Mahabalipuram - famous for the seven pagodas.

Mahabalipuram
After breakfast, proceed for morning sight seeing. Overnight
at hotel.

Mahabalipuram - Tanjore

Breakfast at hotel. Leave for Tanjore. Reach and relax at
hotel.
In the afternoon drive to Tanjore also known as Thanjavur
(The rice bowl of TAMIL NADU). Proceed for sight seeing of
Tanjore. Overnight at hotel.

Tanjore - Trichy - Tanjore TOUR
Full Day excursion, Breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion
to the city of Trichy.
Visit the ancient temples dedicated to Lord Ganapathi, 434
steps cut out into the rock side and interspersed with
shrines, lead to the temple. Return to hotel and relax.

Tanjore
Breakfast at hotel. See the beautiful Chola temple of
