General info about SOUTH INDIA
The South India's coastal plains are backed by the mountains
rimming the wedge of the Deccan plateau. On these plains lie
the best beaches in South India. On the rimming mountains,
the western and eastern ghats are the tea, coffee and spice
lands. Beyond these mountains, in the wedge shaped plateau,
are great old cities supported by rich farm lands and a
culture that has its roots in the almost historical Kumari
Continent from where, they claim, civilization spread across
the world. The south is gracious, graceful, Old India.
South India is made up of the 4 states of Andhra Pradesh,
Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. They all lie in the
southern part of the Indian Peninsula and famous for its
natural beauty and a rich cultural heritage thus providing
visitors a stimulating experience.

Southern Luxury Tour :: Day 1
Morning: Arrival in Mumbai and Receive a welcome of garlands
on arrival in Mumbai tonight, where you are whisked to your
nearby hotel.
Afternoon: Today we enjoy the city tour of Mumbai. Mumbai is
the second biggest city of India and is full of contrasts.
Mumbai with it temples, cathedrals and mosques is a real
cosmopolitan city of India. In Mumbai we have a walk through
the harbour area and visit the Gateway of India built in
1927 by English to commemorate the visit of George 5th.,
Visit the Elephanta Caves.

Morning: Tour of Mumbai city and other sightseeing destinations.
Afternoon: Fly to Hyderabad

Morning: Tour of city and monuments
Afternoon: Flight to Bangalore. Arrival in Bangalore &
transfer to Hotel. Afternoon drive through the garden city
with its numerous avenues of Jacaranda, gulmohar and cassia.
Visit the Bull temple, and Tipu`s Summer palace. Drive past
numerous parks, the Vidhan Sauda and downtown commercial
centre. Overnight in the Hotel.

Morning: After Having our breakfast, drive to Mysore via
Srirangapatnam. Visit fort, Tipu Sultan`s palace and the
Gombaz. Arrival in Mysore by Lunch. Evening at Leisure to
visit the beautiful Brindavan gardens. Overnight Mysore.
Afternoon: After having our breakfast visit full day city.
Evening at leisure., Tour of city and Somnathpur.

Morning: Drive to Hassan, Arrive Hassan by lunch. Post lunch
visit to Sravanabelagola to see the statue of Gomatesvara,
17m tall erected in 1980 AD. Check into hotel. Post lunch
tour of the fomaus Hoysala temples of Halebid and the
Chennakesava temples of belur. Overnight Hassan.
Afternoon: Visit Belur and Halebid and other nearby
destinations.
