General info about SOUTH INDIA
The South India's coastal plains are backed by the mountains
rimming the wedge of the Deccan plateau. On these plains lie
the best beaches in South India. On the rimming mountains,
the western and eastern ghats are the tea, coffee and spice

Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. They all lie in the
southern part of the Indian Peninsula and famous for its

South India Beach Tour :: Day 1 :
Cochin Arrival
Arrival at Cochin you are greeted on arrival at the Cochin
International Airport by the Virtual Tours Representative
and transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for city tour,
visiting the historic city of Fort Cochin - Ancient capital
of the Dutch, Portuguese and finally the British. A walking
tour of Fort Cochin would be ideal but if you are not upto
it hop on to an “Auto Rickshaw”. Visit will include the old
Spice Market at Mattancherry, the antique shop on Jews
Street,the Synagogue, Dutch Palace and, the Church of St.
Francis where the mortal remains of Vasco Da Gama was buried
before it was shifted to Portugal. Return to your hotel for
Overnight stay.

Cochin Sightseeing
After breakfast, half day city tour visiting fort cochin.
Afternoon, boat cruise to see the seven islands of Cochin &
beautiful sun set at Chinese fishing nets . Overnight at
hotel.

Cochin - Munnar Tour

After breakfast, we leave today the tropical coast and drive
to the mountains of Kerala. Munnar lies at an altitude of
1530m and is surrounded by Tea and Carmon fields. Beautiful
scenery in and around makes this place worth visiting.
Afternoon at leisure. We can explore the surrounding on our
own today. Overnight at hotel.

Travel
In the evening you can go for sight seeing of Munnar and
witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds
of kilometers, lust green hills, a place so difficult to
describe, very low population too far from pollution, most
of the covered by Tata tea. Half day visit to tea
plantations & rest of the day free. Overnight at hotel.

Munnar - Vandanmedu Tour
After breakfast, drive to Vandanmedu to see the cardamon
plantation & rest of the time free to explore the beauty of
this beautiful destination. Overnight at hotel.

Vandanmedu - Periyar
Travel
Today we leave the tea fields and drive to the Periyar
National Park. We start our sightseeing by having a Boat
ride on the lake of Periyar. The lake of Periyar is the
central point of the famous 780 sq2 Periyar Wildlife
Sanctuary which was designated a part of project Tiger in
1973. After the Boat ride we drive through the Park and
observe the elephants, bison, sambar, wild oxen, wild boar
and spotted deer which are common here. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Kovalam . Rest of the day free &
