India (Delhi)

Panna Wildlife Tour : Day 02. Delhi
Morning is at leisure. Afternoon sightseeing in Old Delhi.
include red fort, old city, Jama Masjid, “Kutab Minar” which
is 71 meter high and was constructed in 1199.Before we
proceed to the Hotel we have a drive through New Delhi where
we see the India Gate, Government Buildings and Embassies.

Today we leave the capital and drive to Sariska Tiger
Reserve which is situated in the northern part of Aravali
hills. Sariska has an area above 479 sq2 and was declared a
Tiger Reserve in 1973 from the government of India. We take
a Jeepride to watch the activities of Sambars, Chitals,
Nilgais, Chausinghas, Jackals, Wild boars, langurs etc. If
we are lucky enough today we might have an audience with the
Tiger which are numerous in this park.

Panna Wildlife Tour : Day 04. Sariska - Jaipur Travel
(about 130 km)
Today we drive to the Pink City, Jaipur, this city owes its
name, foundations and careful planning to the great warrior
and astronomer, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is the
capital of Rajasthan and famous for its handicrafts and
precious and semiprecious stones. In the afternoon we visit
the city palace which is still the formal residence of the
royal family, built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal
architecture. In the museum of the city palace we visit the
private collection of the Jaipur Mahrajas. We continue to
Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, the largest of Jai
Singh's five remarkable observatories. Its complex
instruments reveals us the secrets of medieval Indian
astronomy.
Panna Wildlife Tour : Day 05. Jaipur - Ranthambore Travel
(about 200 km)
Today we leave the pink city Jaipur and drive to
Ranthambhore National Park. After a break &
refreshment in Ranthambore we will explore the park on a
Jeep. Ranthambore National Park is surrounded by the
Vindhyas and the Aravali mountains and covers an area of 392
sq2. The Tiger remains the biggest attraction of the
Ranthambore National Park.
Panna Wildlife Tour : Day 06. Ranthambore - Bharatpur
Tour (about 250 km)
In the early morning we again explore the park on jeeps.
After the Jeep Safari and perhaps with the memories of our
encounter with tiger we leave the Ranthambore National Park
and proceed to Bharatpur. Bharatpur has its fame due to
Keoladeo Birds National Park. Bharatpur was earlier a duck
shooting resort of the Maharaja. Keoladeo National Park with
its 375 species is one of the best water bird sanctuary in
the world. In winter there are many migratory birds from the
northern hemisphere including the rare Siberian crane.

(about 70 km)
Today we leave Rajasthan, the biggest state in India and
drive through a series of fields, small towns and villages
to Agra. Enroute we make a stop and visit Fatehpur Sikri,
which was once an imperial capital frozen in time,
constructed by Akbar the Great in the 16th century. This
wonderful city constructed by red sand stones was abandoned
as abruptly as it had been built. It has been generally
stated that it was due to failing in the water supply. Late
evening arrival in Agra. Rest of the day at leisure.
Panna Wildlife Tour : Day 08. Agra - Khajuraho Travel by
Car
We start today our sightseeing by a visit to the Agra Fort,
built by three of the greatest Mughal emperors. After the
visit of Agra Fort we proceed to visit the most beautiful
monument of India, the Taj Mahal, We spend enough time at
Taj Mahal to take this impressive memory home. And drive
further to Khajuraho. Khajuraho was the capital of the
Chandela dynasty. The Chandela Kings claimed descent from
the moon. The temples of Khajuraho are among the finest
examples of temple craftsmanship in the whole of India.

: Day 09. Khajuraho - Panna National
Park Travel (about 57
km)
In the morning after having our breakfast we will drive to visit
Panna National Park. This park is situated in the central Indian
state of Madhya Pradesh at a distance of around 57 km from
Khajuraho in the Vindhyan tracts of Madhya Pradesh. The region,
which is famous for its diamonds, is also home to some of the
best wildlife species in India and is one of the better Tiger
Reserves in the country. It covers an area of around 540 square
km This National Park holds some of the most dramatic forest
patches and ruggedly breathtaking scenery of peninsular India.
Panna National Park is known worldwide for its Wild Cats, Tigers
as well as Deers, Antelopes, Leopards, Wild Dog, Wolf, Hyena,
Sloth bear, Sambars, Nilgai, Chinkara, Chital, Chowsingha etc.
We will have a jeep ride to watch the activities of these
animals.

National Park Visit
Today we will drive further to visit Bandhavgarh National Park.
Bandhavgarh National Park covers an area of 105 square km. It is
situated in the Vindhyan Mountain tracts of Madhya Pradesh. The
animals found in this area are Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Gaur,
Sambars, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara, Wild Pigs. It is the same
place where white tigers were first found.

National Park
Visit
Today we will drive further to visit Bandhavgarh National Park.
Bandhavgarh National Park covers an area of 105 square km. It is

animals found in this area are Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Gaur,
Sambars, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara, Wild Pigs. It is the same
place where white tigers were first found.

In the morning we leave the Bandhavgarh National Park and drive
to Khajuraho. Late Evening we Drive back to New Delhi by Flight
to reach our next destination. |
