PAYMENT POLICY
For the services contracted, some advance payment should be
made to hold the booking on confirmed basis & the balance
amount can be paid either before your arrival or upon
arrival in INDIA – but definitely before the commencement of
the services. Virtual Tours India hold the right to decide
on the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the
nature of service & the time left for the commencement of
the service.
Besides above, in certain cases like Train Journeys, hotels
or resorts bookings during the peak season (Christmas/ New
Year) or during fairs/festivals, full payment may be
required in order to hold space on CONFIRMED BASIS. Please
note that such payments are NON REFUNDABLE.
Contract Policy
Please note there is no Contract between the Company and the
Client until the Company has received the initial booking
advance payment as security deposit which is 10 % of total
booking cost The full payment must be received in accordance
with procedure laid down under Payments Terms. If not paid
within that time, CCT reserves the right to cancel the
booking with consequent loss of deposit and apply scale of
cancellation charges as mentioned in the cancellation policy
hereunder.
Advance payment can be made through Wire Transfer to our
bank or through Mail Authorization through credit cards. We
accept Master and Visa Credit cards. Upon arrival in INDIA,
the payment can be made in cash. In case of payment through
credit card, a small amount of bank processing fee would be
applicable on the amount being paid by credit cards.
Cancellation by the traveler
Loss of monies paid applies to all cancelled reservations.
The date of trip cancellation is the date on which the
written cancellation notice is received by Virtual Tours
India or your local travel agent.
The loss of monies paid is as follows:
¤ 60 days or more prior to trip departure - 10% of total
booking cost
¤ Between 30 and 59 days prior to trip departure - 50% of
total booking cost
¤ Less than 30 days prior to departure - 100% of total
booking cost
No refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for
any reason after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made
for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or
services not used.
Local payment
Some of our trips involve a local payment. Local payment, in
the specified currency in cash, is to be made to your leader
upon arrival. Information on your local payment is shown
with the price in our invoices. The local payment is
non-refundable and is considered part of your total tour
payment.
Bank Wire Transfer:
Wire transfer is the most safe and secure way to send money.
We get money in our account within 2-3 days when our clients
send us a wire transfer. Given below is the routings for
