Day 01: Flight to India (New Delhi)
Around midnight arrival in New Delhi.
Day 02: New Delhi
In the morning we have sightseeing in Old Delhi. Sightseeing
of Old Delhi includes "Rajghat", "Jama Masjid" and the great
mosque of old Delhi.
Day 03: New Delhi - Haridwar
In the morning, we will drive to Haridwar. Haridwar is the
gateway to the four pilgrimages in the Uttrakhand region and
is located on the foothills of Shivaliks. We visit various
places like Mansa Devi temple, Sapt Rishi, Daksha Mahadev
temple etc. In the evening we will visit Har Ki Pauri again.
In the evening a Maha Aarti is performed on this ghat.
Day 04: Haridwar - Rishikesh
In the morning after having breakfast we drive to Rishikesh.
Rishikesh represents the Gateway to the Himalayas in the
Tehri - Garhwal region of Uttar Pradesh. It is believed that
several yogis and sages lived and practiced penance here.
Rishikesh represents the site where Vishnu vanquished the
demon Madhu. The spectacle of the River Ganges rushing
through the Himalayan foothills is an awesome sight.
Day 05: Rishikesh - Mussoorie - Shyamchatti
In the morning we will drive on our way to Yamunotri.
Enroute we will stop at Mussoorie "the hill queen". There we
will visit Kempty Falls, Mall road. After having lunch at
Mussoorie, we will further drive towards our first Dham "Yamunotri".
We will spend night at ShyamChatti.
Day 06: ShyamChatti - Hanumanchatti - Yamunotri
In the morning after having breakfast we will drive from
ShyamChatti to HanumanChatti. From HanumanChatti jeeps will
run for around 6 km. Then the way is for 8km. You can cover
this way either on horses or by walking. On the way we will
come across beautiful snow covered mountains, greenery,
Waterfalls, Yamuna River, beautiful surroundings, etc.
Yamunotri is staring place of Yamuna River. Here the temple
of Goddess Yamuna is situated. We will spend night at hotel
in Yamunotri.
Day 07: Yamunotri - Uttarkashi
In the morning after having our breakfast we will return
back from Yamunotri to Hanuman Chatti. By the afternoon we
will reach Hanuman Chatti. Then we will drive to our second
Dham "Gangotri". From here on we follow the Bhagirathi River
through amazing countryside dotted with typical Garhwali
villages all along the route. We will reach Uttarkashi.
Day 08: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
In the morning we will drive to Gangotri. From Uttarkashi
the roads climb rather quickly and steeply over several
hairpin bends and the roaring Bhagirathi river always giving
you company. Gangotri (3140 m), with its famous Goddess
Ganga Temple is inhabited during the summer months.
Day 09: Uttarkashi - Triuginarain
In the morning after having our breakfast we start early for
the Temple village of Triuginarain (1982 m), where as per
Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva got married to Goddess Parvati.
The village houses an ancient temple where the marriage took
place and is an important pilgrimage spot for Hindus who
visit this temple from all over the country.
Day 10: Triuginarain - Gaurikund - Kedarnath
In the morning after having our breakfast we will drive to
Gaurikund. From here we will start our trek to Kedarnath
(3584 m). The first part of the trek begin through the
narrow lanes of Gaurikund and the entire walk of 15 km to
Kedarnath. The walk is over a well laid out path and quite
steep at certain bends, the noisy river Mandakini flows to
your right all along the trail.
Day 11: Kedarnath
Day at leisure to explore this holy place and visit Vasuki
Tal and Gandhi Saravor, an emerald lake where the ashes of
Mahatma Gandhi were submerged. Evening leisure at Kedarnath.
Day 12: Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Rudraprayag

In the morning after having our breakfast we walk back to
Gaurikund. From here we drive to Rudraprayag, which is
situated at the confluence of the Mandakini and the
Alakhnanda River.
Day 13: Rudraprayag - Badrinath
In the morning after having our breakfast we drive to our
last Dham " Badrinath". Badrinath is one of the four dhams
of the country and situated at an elevation of 3133 mts.
above sea level, guarded on either side by the two mountain
ranges known as "Nar & Narayan", with the towering Neel
Kanth peak providing a splendid back-drop.
Day 14: Badrinath -
Rudraprayag
In the early morning we will visit Badrinath temple again. Then
after having breakfast we will drive to Rudraprayag. Rudraprayag
is famous for the confluence of two rivers Alaknanda and
Mandakini. Evening free to enjoy the surroundings.
Day 15: Rudraprayag - Haridwar
In the morning after having breakfast we will drive to Haridwar.
Upon arrival in Haridwar we will be transferred to the hotel.
Evening free for leisure.
Day 16: Haridwar - New Delhi
In the morning we will drive to New Delhi.
Day 17: New Delhi
Around midnight flight to home destination. |
